Subsidy

Applicable to children from ages 6 to 12 years old (from Grade 1 to 6).

Available only to Licensed Daycare or Dayhome facilities.

Families can receive up to $366 monthly.

The subsidy is dependent on family income and hours of care used each month.

Children who attend less than 50 hours per month do not qualify for the subsidy.

Affordability grant and Flat Parent Fee

New regulation as of April 1st, 2025.

Applicable to children from ages 0 to 5-6 (up to kindergarten age).

Available only to Licensed Daycare or Dayhome facilities.

The fee for full-time (100 hours+ monthly) is set at $326.25 per month.

The fee for part-time (50-99 hours monthly)is set at $230 per month.
